Atkinson PTA Membership

What exactly is the PTA? It’s ever special event and program at the school your child enjoys for free (think Running Club, Basketball, Día de Muertos, Lunar New Year, Día Del Niño, Talent Show, etc.)

  • Joining does not commit you to anything beyond membership dues ($0-20/year)

  • Come to meetings when you can. We vary the location and the topic of discussion throughout the year. More details on meetings here!

  • Volunteer only when you're able. Whether you want to volunteer for a one-time event or weekly in a classroom, there is no expectation of what you can commit to. More details here!

We have many exciting activities planned for the 2025-26 school year and we need a strong and active membership to accomplish our goals. Every bit of support makes a difference!

With your support, the PTA is able to provide:

  • Outdoor Learning Gardens (OLG) 

  • Classroom and Teacher Supplies

  • Cultural Celebrations and Family Nights

  • New PE and Music Equipment

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism Programs

  • Family Resiliency Fund

  • Running Club

  • And much more!

Becoming a member of PTA is also the best way to stay informed about what’s going on in the school and how to plug in to volunteer opportunities that fit your life and schedule.

PTA Dues are a pay-what-you-can annual fee of $0-20 per member. For each member, Atkinson PTA must submit $11.50 to the Oregon PTA, and anything paid above that helps us cover membership dues for others in our community.
